God-tier characters are characters who have physical capabilities that outclass those of other characters by an immense margin. Generally, in order to regulate their power, they will often be forms of other characters that are very difficult to access, be inactive most of the time, have a very specific weakness, and/or be banned in tournaments. An unregulated god-tier character is immediately classified by most as a Mary Sue.
